Scholars can borrow an Aavegotchi (in game asset) and play with them in the gotchiverse. Within the Gotchiverse they can pick up alchemica and channel aaltars, in both cases they receive a certain amount of alchemica (in game currency) derived by a mathematical formula. The aim of managing scholars is to analyse their performance and efficiency. This allows the curation of a team of highly capable players while also identifying bad actors who are not using the assets as intended.

The aim was to build a tool which allowed the analysis of scholars while also automizing management as much as possible.

THE Challenge

Scholar Management

Scholars can borrow an Aavegotchi (in game asset) and play with them in the gotchiverse. Within the Gotchiverse they can pick up alchemica and channel aaltars, in both cases they receive a certain amount of alchemica (in game currency) derived by a mathematical formula. The aim of managing scholars is to analyse their performance and efficiency. This allows the curation of a team of highly capable players while also identifying bad actors who are not using the assets as intended.

The aim was to build a tool which allowed the analysis of scholars while also atomising management as much as possible.

THE Approach

The first step was to identify the most important factors to analyse a given scholar, these were:

  • How long does a scholar borrow an asset for
  • How much alchemica does a scholar collect
  • How often does a scholar borrow an asset and not use it

The resulting key performance indicators would be:

  • Efficiency rating (number of hours played / alchemica collected)
  • Best practice rating (number of times borrowed an played / number of time borrowed and not played)

By grouping scholars into different groups (whitelists) you would also be able to analyse the performance of a given team over a single day or a longer time frame.

THE Solution

The end-product was an interactive tool which allowed the management of scholars ranging from multiple teams to a single scholar. The user could analyse the performance of scholars as well as use a multitude of filters to analyse different aspects of the data collected. Furthermore, the tool was able to display data directly from the blockchain allowing for live feedback.

The Impact

0 %
Less time required to manage scholars

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

Data is displayed in realtime directly from the blockchain allowing for live feedback

SIMPLIFIED FILTERING

A multitude of filters are provided for the users to display various performance aspects previously unavailable
